La Vista Terrace was wonderful for our event, we had a January wedding and we celebrated on the Terrace which had 6 heat lamps providing very good heat for our guests, everyone was comfortable. Garden Terrace

Our elegant Garden Terrace offers an open space overlooking the Hyatt Regency's garden atrium. Set the background of your wedding ceremony to the natural light and grandeur of the windows of the atrium.

Rio Ballroom

This ballroom offers, 4,264 square feet of interior space. Considered our junior ballroom, it accommodates mid-sized parties, up to 100-200 guests. Your guests will not feel lost in the ballroom space, and will still feel connected to the action and feel the coziness and warmth of the venue.

Regency Ballroom

This elegant, spacious ballroom offers 10,700 square feet of interior space for you to transform and bring your wedding day vision to life. for the truly discerning client. Graciously host a grand wedding experience for 100-800 of your friends and family.

Divide the space into three sections for a separate ceremony, reception and cocktail hour space in one intimate location. Regency Ballroom foyer overlooks our atrium and river walk.

The best kept secret in San Antonio, La Vista Terrace is where your ordinary event becomes an extraordinary occasion. This rooftop penthouse is suited for luxury and comfort adorned with contemporary Texas flair.

Terrace Deck

Directly overlooking the historic Alamo, 2,400 square foot venue has an indoor common area, bar, patio and outdoor deck. The multi-section venue, is lined with open windows and enough space for your guests to move around and be part of the action, making for a much more involved crowed.

Guest Accommodations

A room block may be setup for guests attending your event. Check in time is 3:00pm, and check out time is 11 a.m. If you would like to setup a block of rooms, a minimum of ten guestrooms must be guaranteed or the prevailing hotel rate will be offered.

Pre and Post Celebrations

Entertain your closest friends and family in an elegant and intimate setting, by having your rehearsal dinner in one of our private spaces.

The perfect ending to the perfect weekend. Treat your overnight guests to breakfast the next day.We will help you customize a menu and other details, so you can concentrate on your upcoming big day.

Deposit & Payments

Venue and Ceremony reservations cannot be held without a deposit. A 20% deposit of the total is due at the signing of the contract. The balance is due 10 days prior to the event. Payment plan schedules are available.

Parking

Our hotel offers discounted self-parking rates in our designated garage for all of your guests. Valet service is available as well for an additional upcharge.

Security Required *La Vista Terrace Only* $75/hour

One Security Guard required throughout the duration of the event, and 30 mins before the start of the function and 30 mins after the end of the function. To be arranged by the hotel only.

Guarantee Counts

The final attendance must be received by the Event Manager no later than 11:00 a.m. three (3) working days prior to the day of the event. This number will be considered a guarantee, not subject to reduction, and charges will be made accordingly.

Tasting

With so many delicious custom menu options, it is hard to make a decision on what to eat on your big day! Luckily we provide a complimentary Tasting of our delicious Wedding Menu Selections for you, your fiancé, and two additional guests a month prior to the big day.

Cancellation Policy

More than six (6) months from the event date 50% of the estimate revenue is due.

Less than six (6) months to one (1) month from the event date 80% of the estimate revenue is due.

Less than one (1) month up to the event date 100% of the estimate revenue is due.

Decorations

All decorations must be approved by the hotel and must comply with the City of San Antonio and Fire Codes. Decorators must be licensed and provide proof of liability insurance, as well as provide a certificate of insurance naming the hotel additionally insured. The hotel will not permit anything to be affixed to the walls, floors or ceilings of the rooms with nails, staples, tape or any other damaging substances. The hotel has specific loading and unloading areas, please check in upon arrival at Hotel Services/Security. Fog machines and open flames are prohibited.
